How to measure children's shoe size

How to measure children's shoe size
1. Prepare your measuring tools
A sheet of white paper
A pencil
A ruler or tape measure

2. Make sure your child is standing steady
Have your child stand on the sheet of white paper barefoot or wear thin socks, ensuring both feet are completely flat on the ground. It is best to have your child stand rather than sit when measuring, as this will give a more accurate reflection of the actual shoe size.

3. Trace the foot
Trace a circle around your child's foot with a pencil, making sure the pencil is perpendicular to the ground and as close to the foot's outline as possible.
If your child's feet are different sizes, measure both feet and choose a shoe size based on the larger one.

4. Measure the length of the foot
Use a ruler to measure from the heel to the longest toe. This is the length of your child's foot.
Measure in centimeters or millimeters to be accurate.

5. Use a shoe size comparison chart
Based on your measurements, use a children's shoe size comparison chart to convert the foot length to the appropriate shoe size. Note that shoe sizes may vary slightly between brands, so it is best to refer to the brand's specific size chart.

6. Consider growth space
When choosing shoe sizes, it is recommended to leave approximately 0.5-1 cm of growth space for your child to avoid shoes that are too tight. If they are too loose, your child's feet may slide inside the shoe, which may cause discomfort or falls.

7. Remeasure regularly
Children's feet grow rapidly, so it is recommended to remeasure every 3-4 months to ensure that the shoes still fit.
